The second Tokyo Meetup by Asiajin will be on Saturday afternoon, October 9th after 2 years since the first one.

On the meetup, we will have

  • presentation "How to pitch your English blog" by Dr. Serkan Toto (if time permits)

  • presentation "Social Networks Wars in Japan, and Facebook" by Akky

  • networking/discussion time

The venue address in English is "AkibaPlace 8F 3-15-1 Sotokanda, Chiyodaku, Tokyo".

We always wanted to have meetups with our readers but have been concentrating on writing more articles, as there are a lot of English-uncovered interesting Web/IT news in Japan.

But now, we get two new contributors who arve good at organizing events in Tokyo. With Kozi Kageyama(@kozi ) and Hiroshi Asaeda( @asaeda )’s help, now I tell that it is high time to held the second Tokyo meetup.

We take admission fee for the venue, and part of it will be also used for Asiajin service itself. There will be free (soft) drinks. You can buy some snacks on cash but we recommend you to eat beforehand.

NB: You need to bring your ID (driver's license, passport, etc.). As the venue is net-cafe and the law forces all net-cafe to get user's information, registered. If you forget ID you won't be able to enter. The space has Ustream support and we will broadcast sessions on it. Like as Akky will do, please avoid camera if you do not want to be on it.

We really hope to meet you, our readers and get feedback your opinions on our future.
